I wanna be Halestorm’s tour guide!

ReAmimate 2.0I gather from my last post, you can probably tell I want to go back to Germany, right? I do, I very much do! One thing I would love to do is visit all my old houses, or the spots where they once stood at least. It has been a long time and I know things have changed, they always do.

Well the other day I got an email announcing Halestorm‘s German tour dates ( I don’t know if they are public knowledge yet, so I will stay mum ) and got a great idea. I have tried to get a major interview with Halestorm, well any big name artist really, but mainly Halestorm. So I thought to myself, “Why not pitch the idea to Atlantic records and my contact  the idea of me traveling with them?”! I could be a tour guide, I have lived all over the country. I could be a translator, well not a pro translator as my German has faded in the years. I could also be a journalist, like a reporter embedded with the troops during wars ( This would be much safer ). It would be a win situation for all parties.

I will not accept or ask for a salary, just pay my way. Plane tickets, rooms, maybe a per diem for food? I would sign a waiver absolving them of anything horrible that could happen, and I would have the story of a lifetime. I am clean, quiet when need be, don’t take up much space and eat very little.

If you think that this would be a great idea, please contact Atlantic records, let them know I am a fan, reporter, vet, EDS sufferer and this would make my dreams come true. I would love you all long time and do a little dance maybe? Would love this to really happen.

Halestorm, oh my what a suprise

I just recieved a nice thank you from Halestorm‘s team. I was half asleep and had just taken my bedtime meds when I wrote it, so … Whoo hoo!.

THIS is the cover that got stuck in my head forever!. Love it.

So I don’t fucking know… HALESTORM!

It is past midnight and it feels like noon.  Something happened today and I realized I need one last adventure! I just want to GO! Like this…

So let us rock out and do this thing, TRACK by TRACK!

Halestorm‘s brand new EP, ReAniMate 2.0:The CoVeRs eP

1. Dissident Aggressor (Judas Priest Cover)

OK, we all knew Rob Halford was castrated as a child. How the hell else could he hit those notes? Lzzy comes out swinging it. Holy shit, I have to hear this live!

2. Get Lucky (Daft Punk Cover) You are thinking, are they those guys from TRON? I don’t know, ( I do, but use Google you twit ) but this is a single for sure.

3.  Shoot To Thrill (AC/DC Cover) “Too many women and too many pills.”, If you can’t NAIL a AC/DC song, give up music. No wait, hire another singer.  L is (most overused word I use?) AMAZING! Hell, AC/DC doesn’t sound this good anymore.  WTF?

4.  Hell Is For Children (Pat Benatar Cover) I have had this freaking song stuck in my head for DAYS!. If you don’t know the original, for shame! Catchy hook and intense subject, hits ya hard.

5.  Gold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac Cover) The whole band shines here. As always, Lzzy channels Stevie Nicks perfectly. Musicianship at its finest.

6.  1996 (Marilyn Manson Cover) ANTI-CHRIST SUPERSTAR! What a way to end it.

ReAmimate 2.0

Take ReAniMate , mix this in and it is Party TIME! I hear some people complain, “They only do covers.”, well let me tell ya’ “This band works multiple asses off. They tour CONSTANTLY and are probably ending a show now with this…”

So go buy and support real, LIVE rock and Roll!

“ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” ARRIVES OCTOBER 15TH

Atlantic recording group HALESTORM has unveiled the first track “Get Lucky (Originally Performed By Daft Punk)” from their new EP,  “ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” which arrives October 15th.

The EP marks the acclaimed hard rock band’s first new release since their stunning GRAMMY® Awards triumph earlier this year, as well as the follow-up to 2011’s “ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP.” As with its predecessor, “ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” sees Halestorm putting their distinctive brand on a strikingly eclectic collection of classic songs, including legendary tracks by Judas Priest, AC/DC, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, Marilyn Manson, and Daft Punk (see full tracklisting attached).

“Like our first ‘ReAniMate’ EP, the songs included here are a collection of both our favorite songs and songs to challenge ourselves,” said Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale.  We decided to go more ‘bare bones’ with this EP, meaning minimal production with live, gritty performances.  We recorded this EP the week of the Grammys, so the excitement and debauchery you hear through your speakers is very real.  We hope all our fans have as much fun with ‘ReAniMate: 2.0’ as we did!”
